An Indonesian Christian was not allowed to renovate her house if she intend to use it for Christian purposes. The believer received a letter from the local village council of Ngastemi village, telling her that her Christian activities had caused unrest in the village. “It is prohibited to hold Christian meetings and/or prayer meetings … in order to create a harmonious atmosphere between people, especially in Karangdami colony,” the letter said.
Pray that this woman along with other believers in her village will come to an agreement with authorities about practicing their faith in Christ. Pray for wisdom to handle the situation.
